About myself
I'm a first year undergraduate at Cambridge studying Archaeology and Anthropology. I have been interested in archaeology from a young age and since the age of 14 I have been regularly attending excavations at the site of Tripontium in Warwickshire. I have also dug in Cambridgeshire and at the Herstmonceux Castle site which was advertised on my website last year (2001).
I set up my website, UK Archaeology Opportunities (http://www.ukarchaeology.org.uk" >http://www.ukarchaeology.org.uk ), in May 2000 after feeling the need for such a site existed. Many of the forums, e-mail lists etc. to which I belonged had frequent requests for help in finding volunteer digs or work experience.
Since that time the site has grown and has enjoyed mentions in Current Archaeology, Archaeology Abroad and The Guardian.
My other interests include photography (black and white in particular), cooking, reading, needlework, and especially genealogy!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
