Things are weird and busy! Behind with the webpages, as well as the ones I now run in behalf of the Cambridge University Archaeological Field Club (http://www.arch.cam.ac.uk/afc/index.html if you want to see my attempts!)

Also got an essay due in tomorrow, a pottery report I'm supposed to be doing for the site I work on at home, and collecting bits for my dissertation.

To add more, one of the pieces of pottery I'm working on for this site report may be prehistoric mediterranean, which is kind of odd when the site is a Romano-British small town in the Midlands!

Ah well.

How goes things with you?

You sound very busy, just like me. They gave me a promotion at work and the quantity of work in my in-tray has doubled. Fortunately, I have another member of staff in my team to help me with it.

I'm not doing much in the way archaeological research at the moment. I wanted to continue adding to my archeaology project stuff here on H2G2 but my computer at home is so slow (or at least it seems slow after working with top spec computers here at work). I'm going to have to get a new machine for home after the Winter holiday... probably an iMac!

I'm also in the middle of building a content menagement system for my work, which may be useful for small information based web-sites like your http://www.ukarchaeology.org.uk/ site. I'll keep you posted!
