Hi dudes
lots of interesting reading here!
Just back from my moot, we have a new couple, shes pagan and he is Christian clergy. We had such a good chat, they have invited us round for dinner, I can't wait!

Wow,Kaz, great combination, should make for interesting chat at dinner!
"mad monster party" was the name of a group that Mickey managed! Lunatic punks basically; as you might expect.
PC: WHEN are we gonna see a photo of this person? I am beginning to think you are making the whole thing up & require concrete proof that he exists. This does NOT mean encasing the poor soul in cement.
MSN hath power to move mountains, or at least slothful people from their homes in France. All i said was bonjour to Olivier, who has vowed NEVER to squeak to me on MSN 'cos i lead him into bad ways & look what happens...

te-he, te-he,
We were working, i kid you not, ask RK if you don't believe me!

Finally I found where you all had been!
PC good luck on the job hunt.
Those kinds of circumstances that ended jobs often where for the best.
I bet you get something you like better.
I hope in time not to fret over money more.
Good Luck ot K also.
Kaz glad to see you are busy and happy and I hope Moonglum finds something he likes soon.
I enjoyed Willems and Vix stories too
I would like to see those large millepeds and centipeds from a distance.
Ellen if you read this - I have my aol messenger turned off because it was freezing my computer. I need ot unload and reload aol to get it right again. I just do not have the energy or patience to mess with it just yet. I have spent too many hours trying ot get this beast back. I can now get some video but not all that I had before.
OOOoo fun news that they have the old Soap series out on DVD I hope they rent it too. Some of the other older things on DVDs you mentioned look interesting in your original post.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the well wishes regarding the job hunt. I'm trying to remain optimistic that whomever buys us out of this mess might keep at least some people on, perhaps even be able to pay better. But I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket!
Yes, we've watched 19 episodes of "Soap" on DVD so far, great fun! Tomorrow night we're thinking of a Double Feature: an episode of "Fawlty Towers" off a DVD set we've borrowed, and then "The Manster".
Terri, K says I can take a photo once he's gotten his hair cut- it's quite unruly at the moment. I will *try* to do it using my camera phone. Barring that, I'll ask my uncle to take one with his digitl when K and I go to my gram's for dinner, and will have him email it to me. I promise concrete evidence... and put a tarp near the monitor, to catch all of the . K's a real hottie!
So tonight I'm doing another load of wash, having a glass of Chianti, and preparing to pay some bills online. I haven't slept at my own place since last Tuesday night, so the roommate's made kind of a mess which I've been tidying up as well.
I bought a basil plant Sunday and transplanted it into the nifty blue planter with the gods and goddesses on it. I hope it flourishes, fresh basil can be expensive this time of year!
That's about it for the time being, I'll be around and online for perhaps another two hours or so, hopefully will see some of ou around.

"see some of ou around"
Hmm, practising frogsqueak are we?
Yoda & i are still awake if you fancy a chat. I'd like to send you a photo of me & Olivier & Cat acting like lunatics but not quite sure how to do it! Maybe i will attempt to email it? Also copy to abbi & anyone else who wants it assuming i manage the techno stuff.
Tell K not to worry about unruly hair, good grief, some people have made a career out of this!

I'd love a chat, for a bit, I'll log onto MSN presently. I'd love to see the photo, although hotmail doesn't always like them. If I catch you on MSN, I'll give you my Comcast address.
K's hair is actually starting to look a shambles, it's quite thick and curls in places he doesn't want it to. I'll have a photo soon, I promise... but if he says he wants the haircut first, I won't coerce him into taking one beforehand. I apologize for not getting one much sooner! (I believe he's a bit "stockier" than your usual preference, Terri, at around 5' 11"-ish and just under 200 lbs, but he's definitely just *my* type. You'll see what I mean. )
And now to see about that chat...

Oh, forgot to tell y'all what a fun evening I had last night. Went with K and his friend T for 10 cent chicken wings at a bar in their neighborhood. I hadn't had any protein in three days (we,, only the one kind ), so I had 12 wings, too. And a couple of beers. It was a lot of fun, they played cool music and we had their "special" table in the back. I had a ball, and crashed by K's again, slept with his cat on my tummy half the night!

Oh, and since I have time... I said a collective "hi", but hello to Hellbound (I've really missed you!!) and Kaz, too!
Kaz, I can't wait to hear about the dinner with this new couple. Sounds like a fascinating combo. Can you tell me more about the moot?

She is my favorite too, the ballerina - I have it hanging by my bed. I should post a full length shot of that. The one I have posted now is only a close up. It's a portrait of Darci Kistler, by the way.
H2 is giving me fits tonight, I'm about to pull my hair out. Y'all having the same problems?

I love the ballerina too, but I will pick a fave really soon.
h2 is giving me grief as well. Grr!
Hey, JEllen, do you know of a book of Rodin's works which contains both "The Gates of Hell" and the "Fallen Caryatid with Stone"? I want to buy a copy.
Short And Sweet
Ellen Posted Oct 20, 2004
I have a book that has gates of hell, but not the other one. ISBN is
1566199069. It's a good book, has The Kiss on the front.
Are you gonna IM me tonight, or do you have time? Cause I am getting stressed trying to post to hootoo.
