Hi PC. I'm a little blue tonight, but I don't want to bring you down if you are feeling happy. But it would be nice to talk... IM me if you want.

I'd LOVE to chat, though it might be a competition with both of us wittering on about nice men!
Yes, amazingly, it seems that they Do exist, though i am sure yours is more of a long term option than mine.
Still, anyone who can put me in this good a mood can't be bad, hope he is feeling likewise but i suspect he is just nursing a !

Hey there kids!
JEllen, I'm sorry I missed you, it looks as if you came around just after I'd headed to bed. (And it's a good thing I did crash early, my roommate's mobile rang at 2:00 AM, and I never got back to sleep after that...)
Today was kind of a crappy day, but I don't know why. Everyone's so stressed and bummed, you can cut the tension with a knife.
Came home and whipped up (I say whipped up, but it took two exhausting hours) a batch of Pad Thai for dinner with K tomorrow. Made enough for him to take home and share with his roommates, who always feed me. I tried something a bit different this time- I usually cheat and use a prepared tamarind sauce. Tonight I made that from scratch as well. That was hard work!
I'm simply too tired to do anything else tonight. I think I shall pour myself a glass of and relax for a bit, then head to bed early again. If you're still up and about, Terri, and would like a chat, let me know. I'll log onto MSN and say hello, if so.

Still here, logged onto MSN, had a great chat with Leo just now, but still up for more, all that's gonna limit me is LACK of cigarettes! (Bloody money didn't arrive today, this seems to be some sort of deliberate policy to gradually change payday to the 6th without actually telling us. Do they honestly think people on benefits don't hang around at crack of dawn to extract their money?)

Hey, Terri, sorry I missed you. I also see from reading your "Eyes" thread's latest updates, that you haven't received your money yet. Those b******s!! I hope it comes soon!
I'm also very pleased to hear of Himthing, and that things sound promising on that front. I can assure you that you ARE doing something right- you have been all along, you've just been doing it with the wrong people. I've had that same problem. What a nice change it's been for me to go from someone who wanted to use me for a meal ticket, to someone who really and truly cares, and with whom I connect wonderfully. I'm hoping that things may develop similarly for Himthing and yourself. Gods know you deserve it!
Tonight's movie night, I'm really looking forward to it. Shouldn't be more than an hour till K gets here. I had another crap day, besides the fact I'm tied up in training classes for half the day every day for the next two weeks... everyone's got such crabby attitudes these days. I'm just trying to muck along and keep my spirits up- the new owners certainly won't want to hang onto long faces and snippy attitudes. *sigh* Maybe I'd be better off getting laid off and looking for something more promising, I dunno.
I need some more advice from Kaz about house plants. Which kinds do well indoors with low light? I have a lot of windows, but they're high up, and I can't place any plants on the window ledges, just the floor and the cocktail tables. What sort of plants will attract the right energies? (And what can I not kill?)

I guess I'll leave some more random thoughts and greetings here, and catch up with other journal entries and postings later on...
JEllen, I wish I wouldn't have gone to sleep without having had a chance to talk with you the other night, especially as you've been feeling down. You wouldn't bring me down, whether I'm feeling happy or not. I hope that if you don't connect with the new therapist, you will find another one you can. I had a few shrinks I did not get on well with, and one or two I did. It's hard to find the right level of comfort and trust, especially after you'd established it with someone else. As Terri said, it's a lot like splitting with a lover and starting over. I really wish you the best with finding someone you're comfortable with- keep searching until you do. And I'll be here as much as I can too.
Hi to Kaz, Hellbound, Abbi, Vixen, Willem, and everyone!

I'm glad you're feeling okay tonight. One day at a time is all we can ask, eh?
How wonderful that you got some painting done last night! Can I see it when it's ready? Please?
Enjoy your dinner! (And I might worry, anyway, you know. That's what I do.)

Thanks, Jellen! I'm looking forward to seeing the photos!
Hiya Hellbound! 78*?! It's 74* here, right now. Pretty warm, for this time of year! It's been nice and cool at night, though.
A cold in the yard sounds wonderful. I've just had one nice glass of , myself. Enjoy your drink and the fresh air!

Oh bit belated...
*excited squeaks* I have a money plant too...
I had a positively ginormous one in England that I'd had for over 10 years...I gave it to my friend when I left and now I have a lil baby one again that Geo bought for me.
Nice to hear that you are well, and stuff is going well in your life. Shame about the evil empire work politics - want me to kick anyone?

>Im backfrom the yard but the amde me really and i'm pretyy <dunkd.<
Just how stiff WAS that drink?
Hey JEllen, I'll be around till maybe 5:00 or 5:30 tonight and then I have to run out, but I think K's band is practicing tomorrow night which means I'll be here till at least 10:30 tomorrow night, if you're online at all.
Kaz, I can wait on the house plant advice till after things have slowed down a bit for you. I really hope that you can keep the pagan fed going, although it doesn't always sound like your hard work is appreciated as it should be, it's a wonderful thing you're doing and I'm pulling for you 100%!
Hiya Terri!
Vix, great to see you, better a bit later than not at all! This money plant is just a little one, I hope it will grow to be HUGE! I someday would like a big sunny room just filled with all kinds of plants! I have three big windows in the living room with eastern exposure, and three big ones in the dining room with southern. I have to find the right kinds of plants for the lighting and stuff.
As for kicking people at my work, I have a LONG list of names for you! Start with the collections agent, then the controller, the president, and a couple of managers.

I think the Pf is rescued for now!
We are working on the international convention in November and guess who has just booked the hall for their first Croydon and Sutton Spring Festival!! It shall be a pagan festival in May with a recycle/fairtrade/sustainable feel with hemp clothes, fairtrade coffee and choc, and loads of drumming, belly dancing and workshops and talks and a concert to finish!!
More details on my journal later when I finalise stuff!
Its all so exciting!

Hello Everybody!
Psychocandy and Kaz, do you know the Jade Plant actually comes from South Africa? It's scientific name is Crassula ovata, and it grows wild from the Eastern Cape to the Natal province. We have several specimens in our garden here in Pietersburg and I've a lot in bags in the back yard for sale as well. I like these plants a lot. Over here, they're not just house plants but excellent outdoors plants as well. We have one that grows in front of our mailbox that's now about 5ft tall and broad with a trunk about a foot thick. It's now over 20 years old. They can become even bigger than that, reaching about 20ft in height.
Do they ever flower over there? Here they flower well if they grow in full sun. The whole plant becomes totally covered in beautiful delicate light pink flowers!
I am personally not very much into Feng Shui or New-Age stuff, but for me, 'balance' has to do with aesthetics and my personal intuition and knowledge of how things look in Nature. If I one day have a place that is totally my own I'd design and arrange it, indoors as well as outdoors, according to my own ideas of aesthetics and natural balance, and an experience of a huge diversity of wild places in nature.
I don't have lots of plants in the house, since I prefer having them grow unrestrainedly outdoors! I do have a few plants indoors though, mostly a few sensitive specimens that need protection from frost, bugs and so forth. In the kitchen there are a few very pretty plants called string-of-pearls, Senecio rowleyanus. They have stems like thin strings hanging down over the rims of the pots and off down the window sill, and little leaves that are spherical like pearls. In my room I have a few Crassulas, three other species related to the Jade Plant but smaller, and a Kalanchoe. I also have some carrion flowers, including Stapelia kwebensis, a species that might either be an Orbea or a Pachycymbium, and another that might be an Echidnopsis or a Notechidnopsis. I hope they flower soon so I could find out what they are.
All these plants are indigenous South African plants! That's another principle that is pretty important to me - promoting and propagating plants that are natural to and belong here in South Africa.
If I have my own house one day I'll certainly put lots of plants indoors as well as outdoors.
