One of my friends had an accident with his motorcycle, and my boyfriend with his mountainbike. But he still wants a driving licence

I have never had an accident, but my sister has had 3 now. The first was on my 17th birthday. The second was around 5 years ago, and the third was about 3 years ago.
Mum was terrible each time when the news came through. She dreads the fact that we ride motorbikes (both us two sisters and our respective partners too).
Some people just feel the need to have their own transport. With this, I can relate too. I don't go out on my bike during bad weather, but I feel "trapped" in my village when my partner is working late and the weather is bad. The bus service from our village is ever 2 hours and don't run after 6.30pm which makes it difficult to see my parents more than once a week. This means I want to do my driving test and get a car.
