So Master Google has informed me. A yummy Sunday family meal. With all the hoo-haw that'll be going on here today, I'll likely just do up some sausage and mashed. Mind you, our sausages are pork, with a hint of hiney and garlic, about 7 inches long, and over an inch in diameter. It takes very few to make a solid meal for two.

I was planning on doing a bit of cooking today, as well. Not sure what yet, but the pantry is full of ingredients.

It's really sunny here today, which is a shame because I'm completely not in the mood for sunny weather

It is supposed to be sunny, cool and windy here. The is the first time it's been this cool so far this Fall and it's still in the 60s.

it's quite warm, and I'm wondering if I should hoover the car

Depends on whether or not cleaning will make you feel better.
I really should buy floor mats for my car.

theres bits all over the floor so really it needs doing

Evangeline Posted Oct 29, 2006
Then you should hoover the car because you'd feel better not having bits all over the floor.

Excelsior still has pine needles in the car left from last xmas
Storm around the house, scream, shout, swear, curse (in the gypsy sense) throw things and generally throw a tantrum. It'll make you feel better

we have pine trees in the garden my dad and I pruned them the other weekend, only when it came to taking the branches down to the tip my dad didn't think to put a cover in my boot first

Reef, I do agree that those things help in venting. But sometimes it's best to take a deep breath and not let things have that much influence on you. Especially things that will never change or go away.
Cal, will the hoover pick up pine needles?

So just how do you clean up after a pack of Gypsies have raged and vented through your house? All of those bangles, spangles, and just stuff...
You're right though, Evangeline. Screaming and raging isn't the answer. Just accepting that some "stuff" is trash, and always will be, and then getting on with the REAL world, is about the only way to go.

I have a dyson full gear. Haven't found anything it won't pick up, yet.
'Deadly Emotions' is a good book that explains the effects of negative feelings. The author is an M.D., a Christian Counsellor and a naturopath as well.

I am told they even pick up small children, who should inadvertently wander into it's path
