Maybe you should try one of those heated neck compresses next time.
Usually we use White Flower balm when a tight muscle is the problem. Thing is, we then smell like clove oil for the rest of the day.

Maverick used to enjoy a bit of White Flower balm massaged into his spine. It repels fleas too.
