I had a lovely day to day I went for a drive and I saw some ducks.
I now understand where the meaning of the word 'ducking' came from.
I was watching a mother with its' baby. It was making some rather sweet 'cheeping' sounds. Light and 
!
Suddenly the mother duck (or it could have been its' father I don't know much about ducks) pecked the junior duck on the head. It ducked it! 
I thought it was going to drown the poor little blighter and so I instantly held my breath.
Two seconds later the poor little thing emerged, shook its little feathers 
and swam away with its' mother.
Have YOU had any duck experiences? The BBC would 
to hear from you...

I have spent many years feeding ducks. I love their colouring. Especially the purple bit on their wing tips. 
I find all bird extremely interesting
