The Personal Space of Pedro Cortes
Personal space is defined in most instances as space distinguished from public space. It usually extends to approximately arm's length or a little beyond although the use of weaponry or allies can extend it for miles.
One tends to dominate one's personal space or one tends to want to dominate it, hence, one is made distinctly nervous when it is invaded. Thus, it behooves us to respect the personal spaces of others as we would have others respect our personal spaces. This may not qualify as a golden rule, but it might be deemed a precious courtesy.
That said, welcome to my personal space. This welcome effectively denies you to designation of invader but rather defines you as a visitor and potentially a friend. Keep that in mind if you please and thanks for visiting.
