Well, it's nothing to worry about. I always show the Researcher what I'm proposing to do before I send it off to the Guide proper, so don't worry about 'losing control' of the entry.

To be perfectly honest I've done nothing more than just read through it to get a feel for it, at the moment. I shall be looking at finishing over the weekend.
We get four weeks per batch of four entries, but some take longer than others to do, so it's hard to say. If the general syntax is ok most time is spent finding links etc. Sometimes you really have to butcher an entry to make it workable - this won't be happening in this case, however!

No problems! I wasnt expecting a 'youve had it ten minutes, why is it not in the edited guide!'
I was just asking what happens, as I have little idea whats going on!
No rush

OK, have finished my primary Editing, which consists of syntax changes and polishing up the text block.
I did carry out quite a few changes to the syntax, mainly 'stripping it down', as the arguements you are putting forward are rather complex to the unitiated, and I didn't want to see the article lose any of it's gravitas.
Incidentally, I have just written a series of essays on urban regeneration for my degree, and it isn't the saviour it at first appears!
I'll be adding links and having a final shuffle through in the next couple of days.

... I have a question: who is Brett Wallach? I Google searched for him, and just came up with an essay. I don't really want to leave the name dangling there without a qualifying reference.

Hi DMS!
Your version looks great
To be honest...I don't know who BW is! I was just looking for a definition and he was who I found! I'll look for another one, from another source if you want though!

OK, that's cool. I might have to chop his name out altogether and kind of busk around it: believe me, we'll get cut to ribbons otherwise.
Will be finishing all my tampering tomorrow. It's a good article, by the way, although I personally think the arguement is a little flawed. But vive la difference!

OK - done. I'll send it back tomorrow. Couldn't find anything, anywhere about Brett Wallach, in the end.

Do you want me to find another definition: I'll check the RGS if you want...
What don't you like about the argument? I like diversity

Actually, the only thing I found slightly awry in the entry were the comments about urban regeneration, and this is only because I have been studying this very thing for University recently. Urban regeneration is a good idea, and certainly better than leaving vast areas derelict. However in the case studies I used Hull, Canary Wharf and Sheffield, it was clear that although the physical appearance of the areas had been changed, the communities that once existed there had been lost forever, and it is community that breathes life into an area rather than, for example, shopping centres and cinemas.
However, your article is about Human Geography, and not specifically urban regeneration, so there is no need to worry about the article itself, which was very good.

What do you mean specifically? I will change the things if you want...I bow to your superior knowledge
Glad you like it

No need to change anything - it's a good article. We've got a little side tracked on an half-related, albeit interesting, topic.
Sending this off to the Guide now, well done again.
