Read any good books lately? Music? Done anything interesting?
Did I tell you I went clubbing last week with the special needs youth group? Every month, this nightclub has a special needs only night...so we went, and it was fantastic! The music was cheesy, but it didnt matter, because everyone was on the dancefloor...one of the best nights I've had in a long while!
Can't believe I haven't told you!

That sounds great
.
Books..hmm. Some good ones that pop into mind - "In the name of Salome," "Memoirs of a Geisha," I also reread for the billionth time all the David Eddings books. On the darker side, various books on suicide, the best being "Night Falls Fast." I'm also reading a book on British culture, so hopefully when I visit I don't make anyone mad *fearsmiley*
Music..hmm..I've been downloading much Tori Amos, I love that song Crucify. Also downloading Tool because too many people I respect love the group for me to not know anything about them. I think my Bjork fetish has relaxed somewhat

Twas!
I've been reading H2g2...plus the harry potters...again also on a non-fiction note, have been reading 'silent takeover: the death of global capitalism and democracy' by Noreena Hertz: a happy lil' number
I liked Tori Amos's Strange little girls: the video was so surreal! I like some of Tool [having only heard 'Schism'], but the video was too freaky! I'm glad the Bjork thing is on it's way out
Currently in the FwT cd player are Incubus [gotta love 'em], Natalie Imbruglia [was going cheap, and have meant to buy it for ages...] and 1 Giant Leap [something totally different, yet fantastic!]. There are also openings for the chilis, muse, the best of mtv unplugged...
..I've got loads of music that id like... heard of Tenacious D, or Harry?

Yes, I at once remembered who they were, or rather associated the name with the music. Yes, they are super, though I wonder about the turntable noises

Have just watched 'Swordfish': John Travolta is too good at playing a psychopath! :-|

Truly (especially since he looks eerily similar to an ex-boyfriend of mine)

! Apparently that's 'tame'...[according to the friend who likes Hannibal and Silence of the Lambs et al...] but was tense enough for me!

"It puts the lotion in the basket!" Thinking of Silence of the lambs still causes me to go into peals of laughter.
