In the interests of keeping things simple...re: thoughts on the magical musical mumbo jumbo swapping machine (that I just invented).
Can I suggest we use this thread to bung down whatever thoughts we might have about potential swaps...that way one can always refer back to one thread to see what one thought about what one might like.....can't one...?
good plan?

right well - I'll start by saying cheers for ' and weeny (again)...and let you know your Tull is ready to go
...however, with a view to keeping things even in terms of like for like swappage numbers I'm holding out for another option on the Santana...shall I assume you are up for my 'best of moonflower' idea?
do you do jazz? I picked up a recording of a european guitar player called Gabro Sazbo...slightly out there acoustic guitar jazz in a little bar somewhere..clapping and coughing included...I like it - hard core punk it aint....just a thought.
how about
<that's my tiny ruby......
ummmm not very hardcore is it.....maybe not then

The jazz I do is Miles Davis - '70-'75 ... cue 3 cranked up guitarists, Miles playing trumpet through a wah-wah pedal and songs lasting 40 mins!
Yeah, best of moonflower would be fine!
Maybe this smiley would intrest you .... <clutching at straws for an cool one!)

bollox to cool smileys...I'd rather make my own, but something tells me it's not that simple....
ok 'best of moonflower' it is....
and by the way...ear-mark that miles you just mentioned for a future swap, sounds 'king marvelous!
Miles has a special place in my heart....as 'Kind of Blue' is a bit of a fave for smoochy shag music with mrsdugdogthewife....maybe I should introduce her to the pleasures of shagging a la '3 cranked up guitarists, Miles playing trumpet through a wah-wah pedal and songs lasting 40 mins'...maybe songs lasting 40 seconds would be more appropriate (I thought I'd get in there before you did).....
hey! that's it!!!!!
hey..maybe that's a question to spice up ask h2g2.."what's your shag music"....do you think I'd get moderated (again!!)?
music
superdogmonkey Posted Feb 20, 2003
You can't do your own smileys .....
Yes, do a Shag music thread! + tell me when.
When were you moderated?
That's good going for a relative newcomer

i'm just going to write my smileys....
ok - we'll do shag music...friday.
I think an early posting on the Voice of God thread - a reference to the evil weed on my part...
if I was a rastafarian - that would be religious discrimination! (that's only jsut occured to me)
ps why is the code for yuk when it clearly should be ...or maybe ?
or how 'bout I use it is red (like my tiny ruby)....and then my smiley can be a bit like yours...
(thinks....oh joy, maybe one day I grow up to be just like sdm)

That was my moderaton - THEY objected to my use of cut'n'paste with the whole albums worth of lyrics from Apos(!)
I'm sure you'll get a moderation one day, be strong my son!

definitely 'N' - I always go on the first initial...even in my address book....
tull and santana will be in the post today or first thing tomorrow....to be honest, the thing that takes the time is printing out funky covers - unfortunately my (beautiful, quicksilver dual processor G4)Mac (with studio display flat plasma screen) doesn't connect my old printer - which means surreptitious printing at work...which in the scheme of things can add days to the turn around...
I guess it begs the question...speed or cover quality?? which do you prefer...?
On that note - thanks for the covers on ' and weeny...I guess you have access to scanning etc. I have to rely on my imagination, or what I can download from the net - which is always dodgy quality...(as you will see in the case of the santana...sorry, bit of a rush job)....
I guess we should be wary of getting into 'most elaborate cover' scenario...it's always really good to have the cover artwork...but not if it ANY kind of hassle...
anyway I'll get on with it....

is this based on the butch tennis player Martina Natarovoloivia?
Don't use a scanner for covers - could if i wanted to ... but use our £17,000 digital state-of-the-art photocopier .... oh, the ease!!
covers are always nice but the track listing is the most important thing ..... don't get in s**t at work!

dugdog <a.k.a. - corla planktun...buffer of the tiny ruby> Posted Feb 24, 2003
oh well, if all you have to do is photocopy that's fine...
I'll have to stick with what I can cobble together....
reckon you should get a that monkey logo on a t-shirt for a meet sometime...have you done many? must be odd, meeting the faceless masses I mean....
anyway - GOT TO GET SOME 'KING WORK DONE!!!

dugdog <a.k.a. - corla planktun...buffer of the tiny ruby> Posted Feb 24, 2003
2 things...
1. I have been dumped into a world of work for the next couple of days, (one of which invloves driving INTO London at rush hour, man-handling some puppets and then turning around and trying to get out again) this slows the postage of TULL and SANTANA yet again - sincere apologies for that....and
2. if you make it...they will come A977141 - wadda y'reckon (I couldn't help myself!)

superdogmonkey Posted Feb 25, 2003
I'll catch up with you later, when your work allows!

Suggest you put the link on the Voice Of thread!

yeah - I wanted to put the Voice thread on there, but wasn't sure how to write it into the GuideML (still learning)....but that is the idea.
I'm out all day today - but might pick-up this evening....

mrsthewife said there was mention of M.Attack a while back but due to your inconsidarate use of multiple threads, it got lost ........ thank the lucky stars I came up with the clever idea of having a thread just for music
