i'm male, live in the uk and i'm a mature student. i'm interested in maths, music, coal fires and the great outdoors

i'm single and live with my cat puddy-pie who, despite her name is not at all cute and frequently draws blood (but i still love her)

some of my favourite books are lake woebegone days (garrison keillor), zen flesh, zen bones (paul reps), fear and loathing in las vegas (hunter s thompson) and the war diaries of spike milligan
i don't play an instrument (i have no coordination) so i'm probably listening to mozart (opera or piano concerto) or led zepellin (communication brekdown or other early stuff) right now although i also like bach (piano music) beethoven (only the late string quartets, i don't like his orchestral work) schubert, shostakovich, hendrix, the velvet underground and lots of other stuff
i like the player, goodfellas, it's a wonderful life, the maltese falcon and anything with will hay
i'm a bit of a smart alec and like to argue the toss about politics, so please feel free to rattle my cage!
