...I'm not sure if I've already mentioned this, but I am currently writing a book about another Bishop Odo, the half brother of William the Conqueror and a bit of a cheeky minx, to say the least. Unless, of course, it was you who sacked Bristol and Durham and made such a mess of Dover, before trying to become Pope and King of England at the same time...

Cheers,

Hello there, you have visited before. How's the book going? I'd just like to state that I'm not nearly as nasty as the original. smiley - winkeye It's an old nick name that I'm rather fond of and which meant I was anonymouse(sp smiley - yikes I can't get to a dictionary) when I first appeared on the guide.

Yes, it's plodding along, although I have now reached the point where I actually have to get over to Normandy and rummage around in archives to fill in gaps. Which means obtaining permission from all kinds of archbishops and stuff.

Incidentally, the castle on your page is in the town in which I was born.

And I ride a motorbike as well! Coincidence city...

Sounds interesting, although a little tricky; good for a trip though.

I know I've got Rochester castle on my home page it was the best picture of one that I found on the guide.

I've still got to do my 33bhp test before I sort myself out a bike but things have been a bit tricky in work recently so I've not managed to sort anything out. I'm determined to be riding come spring smiley - biggrin.

Coincidence city.....well you meet all sorts on the guide!

Have you been blatting about on a 125 at all? I know it sounds obvious, but it really helps. I got really attached to my Honda CG 125, still use it now. Thousands of mpg and indestructable.

A couple of times, but I’ve not been out for a while. I went out for an assessment session and the instructor said I should book the test, spend a day out with him, another day out on my own and then a final session with him before I do the test. In theory I should then be able pass, I’ve been driving for nearly five years so I’ve got ‘road sense’ I just need to develop bike control.

Great fun smiley - wow I just want to get onboard again, although waiting for the ice to clear might be sensible.
