I'm going to try to get to the next Scottish meet.
With any luck, if enough of us get there, we can make it into "An English Meet, Held In Scotland, With Some Scottish Researchers Present". Mwah hah hah hah!

I'm thinking about talking to MMF about a Margate meet. It's too good an idea to waste (Margate's not too great, but the surrounding environs are nice).
I'm actually beginning to seriously think about Germany. I haven't been since I was a sprog and too young to appreciate it. An H2G2 meet could be just the kick up the a*se I need to go back!

Need to find out where in Germany all the German-based researchers are...there's Sho U129860, and Trillian's Child U154942, (who also has links to other German Researchers on her PS), and loads of others that I don't know. Also, other European researchers from neighbouring countries may wish to attend a European meet...sounds like an announcement on the front page or The Post would help. At least, put something into Ask.
You *do* realise that you've volunteered yourself for organising this, now?

You'll come over then ? I think with a little help from TC I should we should be able to work something out. Heidelberg was suggested, but could be inconvenient for people from abroad, I have no idea where the next airport is.
Frankfurt has an airport, but except for our locak Irish pub, and a few other local pubs, I have no idea which would be best to go
