Happy birthday to him! It's a better age than 7 - well, it was in the case for me and a couple of my friends. Our boys all hit 7 and suddenly they were so opinionated!

Blimey the years do speed by.
Mine are looking forward to their 14th and 12th birthdays soon
We're even planning 18ths. There's a total eclipse of the sun 
happening in Hawaii shortly after my son turns 18, and we were suggesting a trip there.
Until he pointed out that of course since that's part of the good ole US of A he won't be able to drink
