I'm sorry, but I have no idea what that is - it's late in the night, or early in the morning here.
*scribbbles frantically* Go ahead Rich, give me more tips

It's OK B'Elana - the Flagematic 2000 is a figment of my imagination.
Thanks for the key Skankyrich.

You know, I should have left the PR the moment G appeared. Now I've managed to make a complete fool of myself,I bet he thinks I'm a stupid a$$, I'm just glad he didn't PR my entry.

Nah - it's an easy mistake to make and until you popped up I hadn't twigged that the notes might have different names in different countries!

An easy mistake to confuse Bach with Beethoven ? Yes, sure, this late in the night, it was easy, but nevertheless

I think he was just expanding on what you said, you know, if you're where I think you are - you just reminded him of a whole lot of stuff!

Skankyrich [?] Posted Feb 7, 2006
Oh, that! I wouldn't worry - I actually thought it was Bach that was deaf...

Oh please, don't tell me he has bad experiences with Nazis, or Germans ? I always feel guilty, although I know that not all Germans are alike and that I'm way too young to be responsile for WWII and all the horrors that happened there.

No, I thought you were talking about the bit with the musical notes in different languages which he kind of corrected you on, but clearly you weren't! Your conscience is clear, m'dear...

Not so much corrected as expanded. Everybody was bloody useful in that thread tonight and nobody looked silly!

I'm really relieved to hear that. And it's ok, he just confirmed what I said. Roymondo, you did have me insecure there for a moment.
Shankyrich, you are a star to say you'd have thought ot was Bach. Maybe we are right after all ? I'm too tired to google it, and I'm too easily intimidated by others, that's my flaw-well, one of the many

Skankyrich [?] Posted Feb 7, 2006
I've just googled, and it was Beethoven We can't be right all the time, though, can we? Anyway, I'd rather be able to say 'oops, sorry, I was wrong and possibly a bit daft' than to get on a high horse about things, and I guess you would too

Goodnight Roymondo , going to myself now
We have a saying here : Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall ( arrogance comes before the fall) Oh, and being on a high horse is nearly exactly the same expression here. I haven't seen you on a high horse yet, though. Goodnight Shankyrich
