My hairs a bit odd at the mo as my natural strawberryish auburn is fihghting off the last traces of years of being yed all sorts of colours (mostly redder) , but im fighting the urge to cut it off.

Oh no, you aint seen me lately! One of my fave outfits at the mo is an ankle length skirt in mottled green suede effect fabric which ties at the waist. A bargain from the Per Una M&S outlet store

Trouble is im not 'me' on the outside anymore and my style, the sort of things i like would look ridiculous on a like me, in my eyes anyway!

My best friend is about your size. She was at our pole dancing party last Saturday. She looked absolutely stunning in black trousers, a little black vest top with minimal diamante at the neckline, and an indian -style velvet long overshirt, worn open, with one feature piece of jewellry. She was turning heads all over the place.

That my size now or the size i was when you met me? I wouldnt mind so much if I was a regular shape or curved in vaguely the right places!

Now this little treacle pie () maintains she looks like a sack of spuds in a skirt, however I would almost lay money on the fact that...

A. She hasn't put a skirt on for at least 8 years
and B. She's picking up the wrong type of skirt!



Sere has fantastic legs, she has a pair of long black boots, she has beautiful tops to wear, now I'm going to force her to get a 3/4 length skirt to show those lovely legs off!!

Listen, S. From what I have seen, you are a fun, funny, sweet and just generally wonderful woman. You are "well-endowed" think rich, babe and inflate your assets (I've said that to you before, I think ) I have been size 18 through to 24 and back in the last *&^ years and I have short legs If you're happy with the longer skirt, great, but don't go for a flary one and stick to soft floaty fabrics, nothing stiff and nothing that clings . My current daily uniform is high heels, bootleg trousers, an eyecatching top (keep the interest around your face so use a sparkly scarf if need be) and a long open front tunic type over thingy - again with the fabric - steer clear of cardies, they cling to the a*se in a most unattractive manner.

Can you get to an Indian clothes shop? I bought some gorgeous (and dead cheap) tunicky thingies from a shop next to the fishmonger's at Southside in Wandsworth. Whatever you do, make sure that sparkle in your eye is well polished up coz that is where anyone's beauty and magnetism springs from...

I left size 24 behind a little while ago I dont look quite tht big though cos of how its distributed..

Just as a thought, have you tried charity shops? I've found some great bargains, there's usually a bargain rail, try a few things and see what suits you. Take a friend (or sister or Mum) whose opinion you trust.

I used to voluntary work for my local charity shop n have got some great stuff there , my suede n fake fur coat, my knee high boots aand some gorgeous satin high heels to name a few things! I still go in all the time to nosey, but theres never anything i like..the assistant manager there now is about my size so i reckon she pinches all the nice stuff for herself

I'm a bit annoyed with the shop at the mo as it goes! I wasnt there for a while , n before xmas popped in n said id be back first week of the new year, onl to be told they didnt need any help. A while later i bumped into another volunteer ingrid at the shops who asked when i was going back n i told her, n she said that the woman whod said that had only been a covering assistant! Ive been in couple of times since, asked to fill in anoyther form, told the (new) managers off sick n im on the list to call, told i wasnt on the list n asked to fill out another form, that they intervew for vlunteers now n would call me..etc! no ones called thogh n i gather theyre pretty needy as the signs up again and other people have told me they are! if im not wanted id rathr just be told than messed around
