Quite an eventful afternoon today! Josh had dentist as he'd given himself toothache again (im forever nagging him to brush his teeth properly but nooooo) and surprise surprise it had to be yanked out like the last one. He managed not to bite right through his numb lip this time which is something
Also on the way I got to explain to him why there was a man dressed as a lady on the bus and also why some teenagers were lsaughing at him/her..he agreed with me that people should just be able to be themselves no matter what.
on a different note got to catch up on phone with aan old friend I've not seen in years n wwe're going out for lunch next week

Tell him I had to have a tooth yanked and the area is extremely sensitive now because more of my neighbouring teeth are exposed, as is more gum. And tell him that Sensodyne toothpaste doesn't taste nice

Try Colgate Sensitive... it is better

Or try telling him not to eat so many sweets, and to brush his teeth properly! Better in the long run.
Get him started on the fags, then he won't want sweets so much...

My kid also had a tooth pulled yesterday... But in my case, the dentist nags ME to brush HIS teeth for him! And floss. Apparently there are little tools with a string of floss that makes it easier than winding it round fingers and trying to fit my hands in somebody elses mouth...
The cavity was scary! A month on, he would have had baaad toothache!

Those are great; the floss things that is so much easier even for your own teeth than a standard tub of long floss string; most supermarkets and certainly chemists do them now; they are like a capital Y type bit of plastic; with the short length of floss between the top of the two top bits of the Y,... if that makes sense, they come in a box

I have some shaped like a P - they are easier to get in your mouth, because you put them in sideways, so to speak.
They are very practical, but use the coarser floss, and I need really fine floss to get between some of my teeth.

Oh, and Seraphina, I hope you don't mean you literally *nag* at Josh to clean his teeth - no wonder he doesn't do it!!

Ok then, (do whatever you pagans do) but do you agree that the dentures are a good idea for kids and adults alike? cus my mum use to have a nice pair or two she could change them without you seeing her gumms and she even had a pair for weddings/funerals/bris's/barmizfa's (she also sung in them too)
