long time no see as such. From my 1st joining hootoo, you were one of the first to people "talk" with meand I truly apologise for NOT keeping contact
please forgive my memory, but I think (was it your son ?) who was s helper at the time of our meeting ?
The reason for this thread, is 1. to wish you and your family my wishes of health,wealth and happiness for 2011 and beyond.
and 2.afterall these years nowhootoo hasn't got rid off me

Yes, Alex was employed as one of 's helpers (an elf ) at Lakeside shopping center, that was quite a few years ago, he now takes his sons to see

I had already changed my tab when you started this thread, but it takes time now when you change text in tab, not sure if it's checked first or what, but I think it was about 30 mins from me changing it in 'Settings' to the change showing in Posts.

Had an hiccup with son (link)he's still wheelchair bound, but passed his driving test just before xmasand has a mobility car, a 4 door ford titanium

I did read and follow the thread about your son's accident, from about 2 days after you started the thread, I quietly followed it for a couple of weeks. So sad how an innocent game can turn into a tragic accident that will effect the rest of his life.

Well done to him for passing his driving test. It looked like it was taking great effort to walk into house, a great achievement.

I have 5 grandchildren now Alex and his wife have 4 boys, and Michael's younger son (he has 2 sons) and his girlfriend had a baby girl last year, named Summer.

A couple of weeks ago Alex passed his driving test on 1st time.

We had a scare with Michael's elder son (though not as serious as your son's) last November, he lost control of his motorbike and hit a tree. His injuries were quite serious he was in intensive care, 3 months on he still has not regained use of his right arm, other than that I think most of his physical injuries have healed.

I hope that movement of his arm starts to show and eventually a full recovery
I say to folk when they ask about my son etc, you can't go through life thinking "it'll" never happen to us. My son will say, it was my own bloody fault, so why moan and just get on with it.
One thing out of it I'm 5ft 3ins and he's 6ft, but now I can look down at him
