I wanted to thank you for doing a Furby photo, I have been waiting 6 years to get a Furby picture back on my User page.

You have been a busy busy researcher haven't you. All those guide entries and more badges than fit on the page.

I had three I could use for the photos, but trying to photo all three limited by 200x200 pixels just made them look too squashed up. So in the end I went for just the one, the white one on a black background.

Earlier this year I resigned from Aces and Scouts, as I just didn't have the time. My r/f situation changed since I volunteered, and something had to go so I had time for the simple things in life

No problem and I am sure the white one will do me just fine, with time it may be more suitable than the brown one.

I wasn't just thinking of ACES and Scouts, you seemed to be everywhere I looked, what with chocolate and calendars and keepers .

I'm a too, but I don't think I look as old as I was made to feel a couple of days ago.

One of my RL jobs is weekend-caretaker of local village hall, though I often cover for the weekday-caretaker. A young lady who runs one of the dance clubs during the week had her Christmas party at another local hall, my son was her DJ. She saw us together and knew we both had the same surname, an unusual one. Anyhow, a couple of days later this lady phoned me to arrange some extra hours for her dance club, I'm also the hall's booking secretary, and asked 'was that your grandson I saw you with the other day?' to which I replied 'No, I'm not old enough to have a 20 year old grandson, he's my son'

Though I am a granny my 20 year old son got married a couple of weeks ago. His wife has a lovely 3 year old boy from previous relationship, and they have a six month old baby boy

I have read your name tag and just stopped by to leave my best wishes for April.

I also saw your post somewhere in the backlog about how tough it was in the old digibox days with posting all the Ace messages by typing each letter. I myself didn't have one of "the" digiboxes but I had used a similar machine on PAYG and understood the problems of website things just not working etc. I remember posting to you at the time when you were a new ACE.

You really can't explain to people who haven't been there how difficult it really was but from that side of things we knew no different. The digibox people did so much with so little really and h2g2 helped them by being here.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been doing a little experiment, finding out if it'd miss hootoo if it were to disappear, and sad to say, I wouldn't miss it that much at all, it's just not what it used to be, or maybe it's me that's changed.
