Then you'll just have to win that super-mega-lottery, buy your own little kingdom, and retire in style.

Seems I'm persona non grata again, I've had 3 postings The one where I ranted about the Profanity Filter, one in this thread and I can't remember what I said and the original one about the door. I guess I'll withdraw from the main part of h2g2 and contain myself to my PS and my friends journals.
*Sigh* At least I'll get my knitting done. I was thinking about starting a Stitch and B!tch group, do you think there's enough knitters on h2 to make it worth while?

Damn, Lady, but you are popular !!! I hadn't back-tracked to notice the yikes of yesterday. Sheesh.
On another hand, the Lady Venus is really pleased, ... her latest entry has been edited. And has a piccy !!! ( A16407533 )

Blimey I'm surprised they let that through with things upstanding

It IS a "piece" of your history and geography, eh? And so far as I know, it's a very limited number of persons that could have searched the licensed BBC archives for the photo.

It's a common enough pic, it only needs library footage

She had begun with an ASK thread, to add to what she personally knew. It took Gnomon almost minutes to find one BBC pic ... So in all likelihood, there are a number from any assortment of historic coverages, documentaries, and what-evers. What do you think of the article itself? It took her quite some doing to work all that in to some kind of a "flow" ...

It's a good piece, she should be proud of it

She very much is. She didn't wish to be seen as "only a gardener" ... And it was one that she had actually mentioned perhaps 2 years ago. She's a very clever Lady.
And, I am pleased to say, the longest running and consistently TRUE friend I have had here.

I've met her in person and I totally agree

Ah yes, the Meet ... The only one that I was truly jealous of missing.

Hopefully we can do something about getting together while you're over here

Do you find your way in to London on occassion? Some of our time will be trying to see a couple of places. Of course, Milady wants to see the "Tower" and the Crown Jewels, Buckingham, and anything 'royal'. And both of us want to see Kew Gardens, after all the pics from that Meet. With Venus as a guide, ...
