I see. And happy birthday to you. But it's such a sad song...

Hmmm... I like it, but not everyone can stand the kitch.
You're a woman though, you should be able to take. Go watch it!
Do you watch anything that isn't sci-fi?

Umm, I'm sure I do sometimes, I'm not a big TV watcher but I do have a big DVD/VHS collection. I like things that make me laugh, M*A*S*H, Victoria Wood, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (My mum's favourite show ) Red Dwarf, Allo Allo, Lily Savage, Eddie Izzard, I watch F1, Cycling and cricket too especially if Hampshire or England are playing.

I think the stupid girl (can't remember her name) in 2 pints really ruins it, for me at least... I can't stand her. And Red Dwarf I just don't find funny...

Louise, she REALLY is annoying but the rest of it is ok, I like Red Dwarf, the first 4 were funny but after that it got a little pathetic

As it does. The degeneration of the TV sitcom and all that...
So what do you do when you get home from work, if not watch TV?
I've given up on watching TV until I put my little boy to bed. He always either cries or babbles or makes some kind of noise, so I can't hear a thing.

I work in the evenings so it's daytime TV for me, not that I watch daytime TV, I do sometimes go for Diagnosis Murder, I usually work on the computer, go out into town or surrounding areas, the beach in the summer, or knit or cross stitch

Yael Smith Posted Sep 28, 2005
Aha, I envy you. I can never finish a cross-stitch. Though I'll never go back to night work if I can help it. Then again, I'm considering studying for a midwifery degree, so I guess I'll have to work nights, too.
I'm no big fan of daytime TV either. I had a whole week of it just now, having to stay at home due to pregnancy complications, and it was not pretty.
Diagnosis Murder!

I had to leave work early when I was pregnant due to complications, I found myself looking forward to Richard and Judy, that's when I realised I HAD to get out It's not night work as such I'm finished by 10pm

I suffered in my pregnancy, I'm a diabetic, I was pregnant in a REALLY hot summer I got some cheap shorts and borrowed my hubby's t'shirts, I did have one dress for 'going out'

Yael Smith Posted Sep 28, 2005
I don't even have one dress, and the clothes from the last pregnancy are either too big or too small. To add to that I have a neverending cold, I'm bleeding, god knows why, and have to eat every 3 hours.
At least I'm not diabetic... and it's winter. I was pregnant with my first through winter, and can clearly remember feeling like I have central heating in my belly, walking around in December without a coat 'coz i was too hot.

I think the fact it was so hot got me into my craving for ice cubes

Yael Smith Posted Oct 14, 2005
I keep craving icy water and olives. Is that VERY strange?
