My dad got a hernia once from coughing...at least you don't have a weird bit of intestine sticking through your stomach wall

I do believe it's suspiciously easy to crack ribs and still continue life normally. Because they can't do anything about it, it's not generally a really major thing unless the rib parts move or something yucky.

You also know it's a bad day when your parents start discussing divorce

It's true, my daughter broke my next-to-little toe by treading on it, even the nurse at the A&E didn't believe me when I told her

I fracture my skull once......that wasn't a cold or cough though it was a combination of those bikes that you have to pedal backwards to break,a stone wall,my fathers bad directions on how to break,a relly cheap helmet,a dog,an open gate and my second time riding a bike.

I...*taps chest*...have in one go completely and utterly broken my leg in four places, broken two ribs, and my wrist. *coughs and looks sheepish* Not that it's a contest, and it was a stupid thing I was doing.

Tecnically this bike could have scene the rise of comunism,the british empire and quite possibly the invention of the wheel.If it travelled enough......

All the bones I've broken have been in really embarrasing situations

I chipped a bone in my foot falling off a pair of high heels, Alex broke my toe by treading on it, I damaged my collarbone by tripping over a tent guyrope and now I've cracked a rib by either coughing or having the cat jump on me, oh and I tore all the ligaments in my foot by stumbling in a wheelmark left in tarmac in my ex Grandad in Law's drive

I once fell halfway off a horse,breaking it in,my foot got cught somewhere and I was dragged around for 20mins until they could catch it.

that's nothing, I once nearly died, three times in one week... or was it four, well anyway it were around 3-4 times in one week

Tents are EVIL creatures...you have to be extra careful with them.
