Good point. Haven't got my lateral thinking hat on.

Ah, the subtle approach
Pssst, Uncle Heavy, did you know I once got fined £35 by the Dean of your college?

Mu Beta Posted Jan 14, 2003
I once threw up in the quad of your college, come to think of it.

Who me or UH. Yeah, that's why I got fined - it's almost a criminal offence to drink in Trinity bar from my memory

ive thorwn up, quite copiously, and i was never fined. the people who run the bar now watch me like hawks.

Mu Beta Posted Jan 14, 2003
That's because the bar's sh*te - that's why everyone's in the tiny pub next door. The White Horse, is it?

Ah well times change. To be fair I was captaining our college darts team at the time and was deemed to be in a position of responsibility. Arf.

the bar does me. its cheeper, if you need quantity. but we generally go to the turf, where the barmen are less terrifying, and there are fewer smelly old men...

Mu Beta Posted Jan 14, 2003
I have a few problems with the Turf, the outside toilets being only a minor issue.
First and foremost, despite their commitment to real ales, their beer is very badly kept. Nearly always, even on quiet Wednesday evenings, my pint has been warm and flat. I got a pint of Abbotts once that was so foul I couldn't finish it.

180 postings of backlog and all I've found out so far is who's thrown up in which college....
GET ON WITH IT !!

To be honest, there are enough clues dropped around the site now for you to find out. Bob the Farmer knows, I suspect VIP might have a good idea, and LeBereauGris has been quiet for a while, so I suspect he might be close to finding out as well.
But I'm not telling you. Oh no.
