Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences Posted Jan 29, 2003
I can put up with the things for brief periods, but sooner or later the claws come out, and that's it- I start thinking what a nice pair of slippers it would make. I don't trust any animal that hides its weapons like that.

And they stare at you with such hatred in their eyes- it rubs off after a while.

Mmmm, it's either "I love you, feed me" or "I'm not hungry and you're not interesting" or "I want to kill you, just for fun, because I'm bored". Yuk.

Oh, a fellow cat non-lover. Marvellous. Takes the thread way off topic (hopefully), but hey...

why can't cats be more like Greebo, Garfield or the Born Sloppy/Rathergood.com kittens?

We have a cat that visits us occassionally- purs like an outboard motor, curls up on top of the monitor, but at some point it's always "I'm going to use you as a climbing frame, and dig all my little claws right in"- then it's thrown out the back door, and doesn't come back for weeks.

Cats aren't anyone's until they want to be let out at night, or fed, or have their tummy scratched. Then they're someone else's.
Our cat, if left in at night, will wake you up by jumping on your chest and bat your nose until you let him out.

Not mine- someone else feeds it too- but there are small children there, so it comes it ours when it gets fed up of having its tail pulled. We have a permenent as well.

Trying to move back on topic...
I've realised that I managed to get through the meet without pulling or getting pulled. I feel so left out
