I like to pop in on a few of the redent arrivals, y'know just to say 'hello', 'welcome aboard', all that...& offer you a ,
, or
& some
or
.You can use any of those icons (like the
,
& many, many more) by consulting the rather lengthly list that comes up when you type smileys into the search window.
Just a reminder & option, if you should want to embellish your nickname, say add 'Ominous Sense Of...', you can do that by clicking on 'Preferences' in the lefthand margin. Of course you can click on 'Help' up near the search window, should you require assistance, or click on 'Read' in the lefthand margin & utilize some of the options there.
In any case don't panic or anything, I'll be here to try & answer any quesrions, or get someone that can. Either click on my underlined nickname at the top of this message (to visit my space & leave a message) or use the 'Reply' button to do the same.
greetings Doom!

Yep - i agree with intern, that providing some links would be a good.
There are some pages that are so special they are called <./>namedentries</.> - (click to get the full list) so you can link using the name instead of the A number. To do this the code is < . / >smileys< / . > (without the spaces!) which will give you <./>smileys</.>
It just breaks it up a bit from using A numbers. but check the list to makes sure you get the right links - for instance the post is <./>thepost</.> ie one word.
But a good start

Just popping in as an ACE or Assistant Community Editor, to welcome you onboard (as it were), which is what the ACEs do, as well as provide you with some areas of interest to newcomers...you know, to help you settle in.
First off, let me offer you a & some
. You can use those icons - or smileys as we call them (the
,
& many, many more) by consulting the sizeable list that comes up at A155909 . You might also want to check A690518 about 'spicing up your page'. Once you've settled in a bit, in addition to my welcome there's also the Welcome Page A53146 .
Something else you should find of use, is a list Feisor (one of the ACES) compiled specifically for newcomers such as yourself, or 'newbies' as we refer to you - that can be found at A719840 . You might want to take a few moments, get another & have a look at <./>thepost</.> the community's newspaper that comes out every Thurs. That should give you a bit of an idea of the goings on here, & it can be quite entertaining.
In any case, click the reply button below, to let me know if you're having any problems. TTFN *waves*
