I haven't a clue. I haven't done any aceing recently, so I don't know how many new members we have on an average day. I'd recommend to any newbie to try the word games.

Maybe we'll get another of those statistical breakdowns again soon and we'll see what's happening in that end of things.
I know as a newbie I'd be very careful about chatting at the moment.

I started with the word games and made lots of friends there. Everybody was nice and patient. maybe the internet culture as a whole has changed?
Anyway, I really *must' go shopping now. I'm starving and the fridge and pantry are empty.
Later, love.

Eureka
It's 2.37am and I've just thought of my new guide entry. I've done a few searches and it doesn't seem to be there so I'm going to start it either now or tomorrow night.
Don't worry it isn't anything overly exciting and will only be of interest to a few people but I think it might work.

Oh dear. The problem is that I've remembered it perfectly and it is a very BIG subject. I've been writing a plan and the problem is that I'm sure there'll be plenty of people on site who'll know more about it than I do. It might also be big enough for a UNI project.
I'll see how I go with the plan today and if there's any way I can keep it tight and in a single entry just covering all the bases.
If that doesn't work I might reconsider - the last project nearly finished me.

The uni project was the last project I did. It finished me - and it wasn't even a big project: just five small entries.
So, will you do it?

You know I think I will. Probably not until the new year though.
Daughter is going to South Africa next year on one of those 'missions' - helping to build/maintain schools and working with terminally ill children (probably AIDS) but to go she needs to raise £1,000 to cover her costs so we'll be fund-raising. Selling tray bakes and tea/coffee at every pantomime show from 20th December to 7th January.
We'll be exhausted but hopefully between that and a fund-raising concert she's doing in spring she'll be able to make the £1,000.
After panto I think I'll try this project - it'll be a learning curve for me as well as anyone who reads it.
