How sad it is when art is defaced in someway!
However much modern art is contraversal, it is something that may or may not make one think. About someting, even if I do not like it!
Old or new Art has a quality to excite or calm the mind, to see old fashioned craftmanship, and beauty broken, makes me cry.

List of things to do:
Send out cards.
Find present for Brother.
Ice the cake.
Decorate the home.
Tempus fugit, Tempus fugit

Technology:
Posted Sep 20, 2002
I have just had to put modern, kitchen technology aside, returning to inefficient heater type technology to cook with!
Why?
6 month old microwave oven packed up.
Well its back to basics and twice as long in the kitchen.

A Few Hours
Posted Sep 18, 2002
What a difference a few hours makes.
I felt I needed to go to church! Many have the same desire, for me though it would require an eighty mile drive, this church then is very special to me.
I first visited it when it was jut opened in 1964, and fell in love with its simple curved walls of brick and stone, and the warmth of the custodians.
It has been a good few years since last I visited, the church is still the same, the custodians have changed their welcome was still as warm and friendly. I had come home!
For the first time in some long time I came away refreshed, enlightened, and ready to face a new day!
(Oh yes and the eighty mile return home.)
