Hmmm....not sure about that. It was Hypermusic that brought my attention to them in the first place. Saw them on Jools and was blown away.
Need to treat myself to the new album soon then!

kind of gone off music recently. living in a flat as i do now, i cant listen at the level my expensive hi-fi demands!
Can't enjoy music at background volume... will have to wait till i can afford a semi.... or a barn in the middle of a field!

God....I have neighbours too but you just have to do it! As long as they aren't working nightshift or studying for finals, no one can really complain. I use my stereo to its potential and so do my neighbours(use theirs).
Go for it. All they can do is ask you to turn it down.
Speaker stands help. Unless you have a wooden floor...in which case.....
PUT A BLOOMING CARPET DOWN YOU INCONSIDERATE GET!!

yep the bloke who lived here before me laid wooden floors all over the house.... not only does it transmit sound as if there wasnt a floor there at all, but it makes my hi-fi sound awful
Tried putting rugs under the speakers(floorstanders) ...helps a little, but looks silly - just as well i live alone really...
Oh and yes the neighbour below me is a NURSE. So i never know what shift she's working (i could ask, but that might concern her somewhat.
At the back of my mind, when i'm listening to music loud,is the possibility that in so doing i'm disturbing her sleep... so she goes into work tired.... makes a few wrong decisions.. kills a few folk... and there you have it ... i'm a MURDERER !!
Suppose i'll just have to use headphones, though the last thing i feel like doing when i come back from the pub half cut and in a boisterous mood , is too clamp a pair of cans to my head.... i wanna turn up my stereo LOUD !!!!

Loughborough [pronounced luffbura, or luggerberugger: we're creative!]
It's in the East Midlands, UK. Loughborough is home one of the few Carillon War memorials in the UK, a bell foundry that supplied one of the bells to St Pauls, a good uni, esp. in sport and chemistry, oh and the monumentally hideous sockman: a disgusting waste of money!
That was interesting wasn't it!
I know, but I was butting in

Well I hope you have read my entry on Lochwinnoch! It is a very accurate description of our village.
On the subject of church bells...ours was melted down during the war and was never replaced so every Sunday morning is (honest to god, this is true!) a very crackly recording of a bell tolling! Its awful!
