Clearly the shockwaves from that missile are still being felt- they nearly got the Dalek himself!

Highly embarrassing cock-up

Oh bugger. I just opened a part-time colleague's pay-slip instead of my own. She's not going to like that.

...And it looks like I'm going to be spending a lot of evenings in hotel rooms in the coming months, so I have a request for those of you that know me and my interests: come up with some suggestions for guide entries for me to write.
Ta,

Being sent away
Posted May 5, 2005
Work have just announced I'm being sent to a client's office in London all next week, so I probably won't be around.
The fxckwit of a clerical assistant tried to book me a hotel where I would've had to pay on a credit card then claim it back on expenses. I don't *have* a credit card. No, I also can't pay for three nights in a central London hotel on my Switch card. I have £3.50 in my account. Bog off and sort out a hotel where we've got an account, or I ain't going. No, I can't buy Tube tickets then claim them back. What part of 'I have no money' didn't you understand? You want me to go, you pay the lot, in advance.
*sigh* I don't even *like* London.
