Sun, sea and beer

Buggering off to Dorest for a fortnight at the end of this week. Will attempt to locate Internet Café for occassional access, but am staying in middle of bleeding nowhere, so chances limited. Don't break the place while I'm away.
Will return 11th September.

East Midlands Meet 3: Festival Time!
Posted Aug 7, 2006
Yep, run for the hills guys, we're at it again. East Midlands Meet 3: A3501622
Someone very kindly pointed out the 23rd September is the Burton-on-Trent beer festival, so what better time and place for a meet?
Let's see if we can manage a few more than last year!

Dilemma
Posted Mar 30, 2006
Hmm.
I have a fiver. I'm hungry. Doctor Who Magazine is out today. It costs £3.99 Should I:
A) Buy DWM and 3 bags of crisps.
B) Buy a proper dinner and no DWM.
Why do I get the feeling that shouldn't be a difficult question, and yet, I'm agonising over it.

But surely you can't 'copyright' 'historical research'?
If Baigent and Leigh want to claim that Brown ripped off their ideas, surely they're admitting that The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail is a load of bovine effluent, and just as fictional as Brown's crappy book. Whereas previously, they had claimed that their book was proper historical research, full of actual genuine plausable theories. Is the smell of some dollar enough to make them stand up and say 'Yep, sorry, you're right, the stuff about Mary Magdelane is about as true as Von Daiken's shite'?
