East Midlands Meet 3: Festival Time!

Yep, run for the hills guys, we're at it again. East Midlands Meet 3: A3501622
Someone very kindly pointed out the 23rd September is the Burton-on-Trent beer festival, so what better time and place for a meet?
Let's see if we can manage a few more than last year!

Sounds like a fine idea for a meet. However, next time is *definitely* going to be Nottingham.

That is what's called 'pulling a fast one'. For the best possible reasons, of course. I mean, if you're going to attend a beer festival, then where else but the home of brewing?

I'll come as I feel duty bound to shore up the dwindling number of attendees with names consisting of more than one letter.

Excellent!
Although I'm now getting vaguely worried that I can't find any details on the web about said festival - my sole source is someone seeing a flyer while at another festival . I think I'll take a trip to the town hall tonight, just to make sure.

Well, in the absence of a festival in Burton then I think Notts should be the default.

Let's have a second go at actually meeting your dog, Kerr. And not having to communicate with him through the letterbox

Well I couldn't find anything in What's Brewing, but that can be just as badly organised. I'll give teh branch a ring tonight. It could be that rather than it being the town hall festival it's Burton Bridge Brewery's, which is just as good.
Excellent GD - and this time we'll get it right!

And Worcester is somehow mysteriously in the East Midlands now, is it?
