...And it looks like I'm going to be spending a lot of evenings in hotel rooms in the coming months, so I have a request for those of you that know me and my interests: come up with some suggestions for guide entries for me to write.
Ta,
I'm Bored.

You cold start with drinking establishments in the area of your hotel. Bit of practical research for you to do...
I'm Bored.

The Heights of Abraham? Good grief, haven't been there for years. For some reason that entirely escapes me, its cable car was very famous for something . Mostly it's just a crap kids amusement park now. Good idea though
. Kelli- my entries about the pub's around this hotel would simply consist of 'Don't drink here', I'm afraid...
I'm Bored.

Nope. A pub round the corner would be passable were it not for the '£2.60 for a pint of London Pride' factor.
I'm Bored.
Zarquon's Singing Fish! Posted May 16, 2005
*searches memory for Derbyshire related stuff* - ah yes - the Blue John Mines - they were always good for a visit - you could do worse than do an entry on those.
I'm Bored.

How about 'Quatermass': the TV series, the films, and now the live drama for BBC4?
I'm Bored.

And there's the Derby Ram folksong - http://www.informatik.uni-hamburg.de/~zierke/lloyd/songs/thederbyram.html ... links with mythology and the killing of the sacred king (would link with one of my entries).
I'm Bored.

Why don't you see how many Entries you could get the word 'cock' into?
Suggestions:
1) Hens and chickens
2) Plumbing for beginners
3) Weathervanes
4) Parts of a firearm
5) Brummie terms of endearment
There, that should keep you going for a while.

Blues Shark - For people who like this sort of thing, then this is just the sort of thing they'll like Posted May 17, 2005
If you are going to do Quatermass, I'm game for a collaboration of some sort. Have been meaning to look at the Professor for ages, and having someone else to kick me up the arse would get me back into the habit of writing.
I'm Bored.

If you wanted someone to kick you up the arse honey, all you had to do was ask. Id've been more than happy to oblige

Why not write an entry on "How not to go mad when stranded by work in a hotel with no money", it would be topical, fun and perhaps theraputic!
I'm Bored.

BS- I'm up for that, we can work out the details this evening.
FB, unfortunately the answer seems to be 'make work give you a laptop and modem', which would be a short entry. Although seriously, it could be a fun entry.
I'm Bored.

Alternatively, Blues, if you just want someone to kick you up the arse, I'm sure I can find a volunteer or two.
