whimsygirl

This whimsygirl hails from the foggy San Francisco area--still don't know if our fogs compare to London fogs, but perhaps I'll have the chance to find out one day (mayhap this summer).

Why am I a whimsygirl? Well, my lovable but rather staid husband is still learning how to handle spontaneity. He gave me the nickname. smiley

I found this site by accident and being a fan of Douglas Adams, the name rather caught my attention.

I am a high school history teacher (U.S. and World) and I am the Activities Director in my school as well. I plan and teach the leadership class and these students organize events, community service and many other activities for kids.

I love music (classical, pop and gospel), I play the guitar, knit up a storm and play Everquest in my spare time. I enjoy reading almost anything if it interests me and I am told that I have an earthy sense of humor.

Weird items of possible interest: I've lived in Iceland, broken both my thumbs and can tap dance to a samba beat (two of these statements are true)..silly
