Hiya, how nice of you to *drop* by.....
BTW, did you take good care of my darling daughter this weekend? And protect her from all Croz's?

Oh, BTW, mom, did you get his email? I was supposed to ask when you got online, but you haven't gotten on AIM or MSN yet...
(sorry to interrupt)

Pardon my manners, sorry about your foot.
And what exactly is a clanger? I've been trying to think of all the things that go clang (as opposed to things that go thunk, tinkle, crash, thud, sproing, bong or bonk), and about the only thing I can come up with is that you dropped a 57 pound bell on your foot, which of course brings up the question, why were you messing around with a 57 pound bell to begin with? Don't you know those things are heavy? Don't you know that if you drop it, you'll hurt your foot?

"droping a clanger" is an expretion usually meant to imply some sort of sudden embarresment i.e something that makes a noise disspropotionaltly loud to it's size.
I figured this was a defining theme of when we've tried running a mutli-conversation on msns with Amy, Shorty, Me and yourself and a good way to inroduce myself in the h2g2 environment.
So how are you finding so far, any question? (Fulfilling his ACE duties...)

Doing fine... Amy P sent me around to a few pages and conversations last night, and Rachel has helped me a bit when I can catch her between homework assignments, and Amanda has helped a bit too....
Speaking of Amy P...... after the trouble she got into the other evening at the meet, I have yet to hear what exactly Amanda "did" at the meet..... nobody will tell me...
I know the mother is always the last to know, but I also know you'll be nice enough to tell me

Seems to me the person in the picture is also the last to know...
*steals Clive's thunder for a moment* (don't worry, I'll give it back in a bit )
Go to <./>Smiley</.> . Well, if that comes up as a link (I haven't gotten all of these new fangled links figured out yet). Or just click on any smiley, it'll take you to the same page.
*hands back his thunder*
*drops a clanger* - Ow! my foot!!!
Lady Scott Posted Jan 31, 2002
but is there a smiley? I think not.
And nobody's gonna tell me what you did at meet, now are they....

Ah-HA!!!!
So *that's* why he wants to name it Thing........... He took the thunder, so now he's trying to take over the name of the day as well!

Dr St Justin said I was a good girl, Eris said I was a good girl... I can't remember if Clive said anything ()... if I remember Parrferris's words correctly, at least I wasn't doing what Amy P was...
I suppose I'll wait for photos with me in them to see for real...
...and a smiley? Oooh, good idea!

AS far as I know - you did nothing at the meet, Indeed you were discreetly facing in the other direction while Croz was putting on the moves with Amy P.

I've got a feeling that nothing anyone could say, from The Editor Mark Moxon himslef, to me your 'umble Warlord, would convince you that nothing happened to you at the meet!*
