Avenging Washcloth, An unhurried sense of time is, in itself, a form of wealth.

I'm the only washcloth on h2g2. I checked. What? Is everyone using loofahs instead?

Yes, we can use the dish cloth Shorty made.

It's...... um....... rather unique, to say the least....

Seeing as how it's now Sunday morning, let's just say that her rendition of a discloth, while not being the least bit self-righteous, was about as hole-y as you can get because of all the dropped stitches.

Not wanting to conform to the dimensions of rest of the square dishcloths in my drawer, while being made, it took on a rather kite-like shape.

And finally, conservatively refusing to be made of any more yarn than absolutely necessary, the stitching is excessively tight.

Which means it is a very unique dishcloth, indeed.

Now, aren't you glad you asked?

It certainly does - thanks Amy

Aren't mums annoying when you put such blood toil tears and sweat into something and they just laugh when it's not perfect. I have a scarf from my daughter and it keeps the wind & cold out beautifully.

Now I never said it was not quite a useful little dishcloth, only that it had some rather unique qualities to it....

When I was a bit younger (about eight or nine), our form was making a blanket for an appeal that was sending blankets to some Eastern European country or another. We all had to knit squares and then we were going to stitch them all together. Apart from the teacher, I was the only person in the class who could cast on and off and keep a reasonable square shape going. One of my friends started of with sixty stitches, and ended up with six, 'twas ever such a nice trianglesmiley - laugh
