This is the Message Centre for Commander Draco, Supreme Dragon Lord

Hi Draco, this is not an attack but just a friendly visit as I think I owe you a note of explanation about how we approached your invasion. I'm going to make the same posting on the rest of the Evil Army's uspaces so the same message is going out to all of you.
First some confessions.
1. What I was saying to you in my early postings was essentially true - we're not what we once were but to understand our reaction you need a bit of history. You've been around longer than the other I think so you may know some of this.
2. The great Cat War raged across H2G2 during 2001 and 2002. There had been role playing on the site before but never an armed conflict. It sort of became the war to end all wars - most of the hootoo researchers took sides and there were dozens and dozens of us engaged in what was a friendly slapstick sort of conflict. H2G2 had never seen anything like it - you can get some sense of how big it was by going through our old sites. The ACF alone had many facilities. The main ones were at :-
A655869 Induction centre
A604667 Armoury
A616844 Fighter Command
A609004 Naval Command
A697205 Shooting Range
A626654 POW Camp
A693957 Fort Fleapit
A685938 Cat War archive
A743294 War memorial
There is a special weapon of significance called the Curiositizer which you should become familiar with as curiosity kills cats as if you didn't know that already. The portal is at A613847 but unsuspecting Cats arrive at the Curiositizer at A613865.
3. Then at the height of our power we made a mistake - we launched an invasion of the Musehome . It was supposed to be a lightning raid - a quick in and out but it all went badly wrong and we lost dozens of our troops and it got personal and ugly. In frustration and hurt I quit H2G2 for a while . It was a bad time. Eventually I was persuaded to come back to H2G2 and we managed an armistice and tried to get things back to normal. The Cat War ultimately stretched over nearly three years and produced hundreds and hundreds of threads but ultimately it reached it's natural conclusion.
4. Most of the main characters are still around HooToo and we are all still close comrades but we all resolved together before we disbanded that we wouldn't let any future invasions impact us. You see we were all very proud of what we achieved in the ACF - we were very stylish top quality RP'ers and did many great things - the Curiositizer being just one good example of our achievements.
The upshot of all this rambling is that because of who we were we have been the target of a lot of incursions and we don't want our past achievements to be tarnished. The reality is that it takes a lot of effort for me to get the old crew together to repell attacks so we didn't feel really able to respond to you by fighting but we couldn't just let you take over the Dog House which was our supreme achievement and our spiritual home.
So we had a dilemmna which we tried to resolve in the way you saw.
Two years ago you'd have had the kind of fight I think you want on your hands but as I said above we can't give it to you. We've had a lot of bad experiences both here and with other organisations such as CHOPPERS and STUMPED that we're also engaged with and don't want to have any trouble. Specifically we don't want another Musehome on our hands.
You all seem a decent lot and we didn't really want to disappoint you and we don't want you to be actually hurt by the stunt we pulled ...... although we are of the opinion that it was a good one . Consider it a valuable free learning experience if you will.
I hope we can stay friends.
