There is a Danish film called something like 'The Art of Clapping with One Hand', MoFoLo. Did you see that

how's life down there? we had a storm yesterday and are waiting for another but right now everything is extremely quiet. i should get out while the weather is still tolerable, i guess

most of the shops are open every sunday in december. maybe the shop owners have never heard of recession? or maybe they are trying to fight it? i don't know 
but it's practical for me, since i forgot to buy potatoes yesterday
what kind of apple liquor are you having? calva?

bratapfel likör there is a spirit i have never heard of
limoncello i know. girlfriend of mine brought back some years ago after having been an au pair in 'the land where lemons blossom'. she said that it is made all over the place even if it is forbidden, but i'm not sure about that - and who cares anyway?

well, apparently, my Limoncello came from Aldi. The Bratapfel stuff comes from a winery/deli not far from my office

- sorry - it is an expression I've heard here going back more than 40 years. Really took off during the happy hippy days along with if a tree falls in a forest and there is no one around is there sound.
