h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi I'm spelugx (just call me 'x' easier to spell (thanks Irving)).
Welcome to H2G2. I'm am Assistant Community Editor (ACE) and I'm a sort of official greeter. I hope you find lots of interesting things around this site. Thank you for your welcome posting, and I am sorry that I didn't reply sooner but I had two excuses.

The first is that I initially found the h2g2 site both exciting and confusing!! It meant that I was surfing the site looking for like-minded individuals and getting hung up on the confusion aspect.

In fact, it was a message from Crystal ACE (I think) that told me what I should be doing to combat confusion, ie posting to you. Instead, I was talking directly to Maggy W and Crystal and another kind ACE, whose moniker escapes me, whilst trying to post to other sites - notably the 360 degree site.

Secondly, I have been out of the loop for a while with what I can only describe as a very challenging few months trying to get real life sorted - not yet achieved!

By the time I had posted to the various individuals mentioned they managed to sort whichever problem for me, thankfully. It meant that I didn't need to bother you at the time.

It has only just occured to me that it was very rude not to have responded to your initial posting, not even to let you know that I was doing ok. So, grovelling apologies all round. Hope you will forgive me and will continue to sort out any future problems I may have.
