Would you like to be in my new photo gallery?

Sara said you took a photo of her on Friday that she will probably send in if it turned out.

Hi az
Does that mean I have to be seen?
It might be a couple of weeks until I get that pic of Sara as I'm going to send the film away to be developed - far too expensive in town!

So I don't need the ones of Sara now (took some myself ) but one of your lovely self would be, well, lovely.

Well I've just got a digital camera, so will be able to sort you out a photo as soon as I've wrestled with the sizeable instruction manual!
As for your friend with migraines, there's no easy fix for that I'm afraid. The main thing is to find out what their triggers are - the usual suspects are chocolate, citrus fruit/juice, redwine, cheese and coffee. They can try cutting those out of their diet and see how they get on.
As for herbs, feverfew taken every day can work as a preventative measure.
They need to make sure that they drink plenty of water as dehydration can cause migraines as can fluctuating blood sugar levels - so make sure that they eat when their hungry and stay away from sugary things.
A drop of lavender oil on the temples/nape of the neck may help with pain/de-stressing.
The acupuncture point on the web of the (topside of the) foot between the big toe and the 2nd toe can help with head pain. It will probably hurt when pressed - that means you're on the right spot!
When I had a spate of migraines earlier this year (3 in 4 days! ) I found that the homoeopathic remedy Belladonna helped, but it may not for your friend as each case is diferent.
The best thing would be for them to head off to an acupuncturist/chinese herbalist or a homoeopath so that the practitioner can take a look at them and take a full case history.
Here's a link to a site that may help your friend to find the right homoeopathic rememdy for themselves:

Thank you *very* much for that. I've passed the info on to my friend and he says he is finding it very interesting and useful, though a lot to take in all at once.
I'm one of those very annoying people who has never had a headache in their lives so I really couldn't offer any advice. But I have a f**ked up back and dodgy hair to make up for it.
Oh, I know what you mean about instruction manuals. I tend to ignore them as much as possible. When I got my new computer last year I just hooked everything up where it seemed to make sense, plugged it in, turned it on - and then crossed my fingers! And hey - it all worked!
But I do find digital cameras confusing, for some reason. Anyhow, looking forward to seeing you once you've got it all worked out.

I hope that your friend finds that information helpful.
Dodgy hair eh? Join the club!
I've figured out how to take pictures. Now I just need to figure out how to take good ones.

How's your friend with the migraines getting on?
Right, I have a pic that I can give you - well I took a photo using my new camera of another photo because I don't have a scanner... so the quality may not be that good.
How do I give it to you then?
