Hey Gnashers! ?
Wedding plans............
It's funny how organising other people is easy for me, but organising my own life is a nightmare!
All my man and I wanted was a quiet, intimate ceremony with the minimum of family and close friends, but family politics have now entered into the equation and there are more people down to come every day!
I'm beginning to wonder if my first idea of running off to Las Vegas and getting married at the Elvis chapel wasn't such a bad idea after all.
I'm off to see a dress maker (? maybe that should be seamstress...) on Thursday evening, so that will be the major weight off my mind.
Then of course the costume ball the next day will take *loads* of sorting out...
*sigh*

How about ?
You're loving it really
How many are on the list now? We had 'the' event of the century t'other week: rolls royce the lot! Well I say we: it was the family across the road!
Definitely not seamstresses: have you read Terry Pratchett?
Why go to Las Vegas: for the same money you could go to Barbados or St Lucia!

I'm off the thanks, it makes me go very
.
I'll stick to being a strange pondwater drinking hippy and opt for chamomile and limeflowers thanks!
I'm loving the excitement of the impending wedding of course, but I'm not loving the logistical nightmare and the political situation that it has become. I think that I might ask the UN for a resolution...
I think that there's about 30 on the list for the actual wedding day now, but for the costume ball the next day, close to maybe 150....
They probably won't all come, and I'll be Billy-no-mates and there'll be about 4 people turn up. More for me then!
I haven't really read any Terry Pratchett - everyone was always going on about how good he was that I rebelled and made every effort to avoid him.
As for Las Vegas...
I always swore blind that I'd never get married, no, not me, no sir.
I *did* make a small proviso that on the unlucky chance that I did, it would have to be the Elvis chapel in Las Vegas (not the drive through ceremony that a couple of my friends had a year or so ago...) purely because it was *so* tacky and against everything that marriage (or at least the wedding ceremony) in this country is.
Oh, and I've watched "Honeymoon in Vegas" with Nicolas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker too many times.
So how's things with you? Still enjoying the new(ish) job? Plans for travelling/university?

I like ! Caffeine doesn't seem to effect me.
What is it with C&L : a lot of the teachers at the SEN school love it!
Only 1 Resolution? Surely at least 2?
A Costume Ball? Very swish
I Like TP...very funny.
My friend's mum, when she seperated said that she would never get married again, unless it was on a St. Lucia beach. They're hoping to do it within the next year!
On the me front, I'm still at Tesco's, though on the customer services now, and I'm still working supply at my local special needs school: which is great fun, but tiring.
On the travelling bit, I've got a contract with a summer camp in the US. It's in Pennsylvania, and is for children with ADHD. The website is at www.summitcamp.com : just in case you're bored It should be good fun [never been over t'pond] and I'm looking forward to it...even if some of the equipment is costing me a small fortune!
Uni, I'm still going in Sept. to Leeds. I've got a buddy up there, so I'm off to see them next week: I'll also drop in at the Accomm. Office to get my darned Halls application form! I've also just got the results this morning for a retake: I retook a geography module because I was [note was ] 0.6% of the higher grade, and I did it
