I think it might be best not to talk about lordWolfden on the "Beam me Up Scotty" thread. He has found it once.

Ok. Good plan. Had wondered whether he'd still be listening. Don't want to get him all worked up and angry. Who knows what he'd do.

Well he'd probably try and kill me. I'm currently involved in a conversation about him in the MotMV tearoom and No no no!! The consensus seems to be that he's annoying and people try to keep away from him.

He started out ok, but did seem to get a bit obsessive. I'm curious to see what he does if I ignore the posts he's in.

He posts in threads by himself if nobody else posts there. Did you see his "Animal Zone" page A4069596. I think he's the only one who posts there.

Just thought I hould warn you about a troubling piece of information the Animal gave me. Animal gave lordWolfden his email address a few weeks ago, and every few days he has been recieving very similar messages from LW asking him to visit a whole load of sites. What's more, the email is sent to several different email accounts. Esentially, he's spamming peoples emails.

That's kinda worrying. Good thing I didn't give him mine.

It all seems just a bit obsessive.

He's annoyed others on here including myself quite considerabably.....

Well looking at messages left on his PS I saw that he got at least two other peoples emails. I've asked them if they have recieved the same emails as Animal, and one of them has said yes, the other has yet to respond.

I've warned most of my friends on the site not to give their email to him. You two might want to as well.

I've always tried to be careful anyway. I've only given my email to a couple of people from here. So far, he hasn't asked.

I've given mine to a few people.

Well the third person responded and he has been getting the same messages. Is it against the house rules in any way to use email addresses you got from the site to send spam emails to?

I'm not sure. I'm not hugely familiar with them.

But I'm sure there's probably something. Probably says something about giving out your e-mail in the first place.

What about simply blocking him? Would that work?

What do you mean by blocking him?

I know with my hotmail account I can set it that only addresses in my address book or safe list go into my inbox. That'll stop messages from unsaved adddresses getting in. I think I can also tell it to specifically stop certain addresses too.

Well the rules don't seem to help much then. Suppose sending e-mails isn't part of hootoo, so they can't make rules about it.

I guess not. I was thinking maybe some sort of intervention might work. If there was enough people who had been annoyed by LW, and we all left a message on his PS telling him what we know and asking him to stop some of his more annoying habits, maybe he might stop. It's a long shot . . .

Who knows. I've been bad and unsubscribed from all the threads he was in. Had been me and him in them mainly anyway. I've been waiting for a message in my space asking where I am, but there isn't one.....yet.
