Job Hunting
I recently, well very recently gave up the crap job I was doing. So now I am looking for a job.
I love using the Internet so I thought to myself, here I have a massive resource where I can find a job through one of the hundreds of agencies and comapanies who do their recruiting through the web.
Now i am a firm believer in fair play but it has to be said that the majority of the agencies and companies appear to completely disregard all of the laws we have in this country about false advertising.
I sent my CV to one site who shall of course remain nameless at present. The site must have had 150 vacancies advertised many of which my experience and skills would be eminently suited to.
I recieved an e mail back a day later to say there were NO, I repeat NO suitable vacancies for me. I was gobsmacked.
Has anyone else out there had a similar experience and did you resort to the tried and trusted methods for getting a job?
