Hello, am I really here?

I though the transfer didn't work, what with the lack of a "registration code" in the confirmation email, but it seems I'm in.

!!!

I just got into a car accident, a minor fender-bender. With the son of the former governor of NJ. He backed into me in a parking lot, in his oversized humvee, putting a dent in my normal-size Civic. My car is dented. My nerves are rattled. Otherwise I'm fine.

I was going to walk to work this morning too, but then I decided it would be good to go shopping after work. Which I forgot to do. Now I have no milk.

Because I can do this too

Hello, from my iPod touch. This really is an absolutely incredible device. Apple crossed all the "t"s in the interface. There are a few odd things here and there, but for the most part this is an unbelievably useful thing. You done know that you need one until you have one.
Best part is that my office paid for it. smiley - smiley It's Witty's tax dollars at work. smiley - tongueout

An hour, lost

I was very groggy this morning when I woke up, and struggled to get out of bed 15 minutes later than usual. That was about 7:15 a.m. Breakfast and morning paper plus h2g2 time lasted about an hour, so about 8:15 I headed back upstairs to get ready for work (technically starts at 8:30, but I usually aim for 9:00). The grogginess was still going strong, and before I knew it, another hour went by. I let the dogs out, spent a little more time on the web waiting for the dogs to finish their business, then left for work. BBC News was still on the radio, so that puts me leaving the house at 9:30 or so.

I got to work sometime between 10 and 10:30. My commute only lasts 5 minutes or less. So where did the missing hour go?

This is very disconcerting. And I'm still groggy.
