I like the first Europe. The "dog"'s wearing one of those LED collars! 
Seriously, it's amazing to see the way the line of light corresponds with the region's only railway. Settlement in old Amerikay musta bin somewhat akin to that.

Interesting to see that the eastern USA is still so much more densely populated than the west.

And the UK is really concentrated, as are the low countries just opposite.

While that might be mostly true, they also use fewer lights because they have more dogs. Though I've heard that geese and female donkeys make the best watch animals.
