Holy Frakin' Yeah!

The only downside to this apartment I'm living in is that the cable selection kind of stinks- I get the networks, some christian channel, and c-span. Now, I'm not really disappointed because I don't watch that much TV anyway, but as anyone who's been around me for more than two seconds knows, I'm a huge geek, and the SciFi Channel is the only one that carries my favorite shows. I'm just a bit disappointed because I can't watch them now.
So imagine my joy this morning when I found out that TPTB at the SciFi Channel has released the first five episodes of Season 10 of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis to be purchased on iTunes!
*Happy dance! Happy dance*
Now if they'd just get Eureka, The Amazing Screw-on Head, and the rest of their new stuff out there too, I'd be in broadband heaven!

They put BSG on there too, but only for yanks to dl. I had to obtain my copies illegaly...well untill they release the DVD anyway.

We-el, I think it's legal if you know someone in the US who can give you those BSG episodes... you know, as a gift...

I've obtained a few episodes of said shows, good they are too, what about the rumours that they've cancelled SG-1

I just read that on the internet this afternoon. I was quite suprised! And a little dissapointed as well. I hope its not true.
I havent seen the episodes without Jack yet though... Are they any good?
And can anyone tell me whether Jack and Sam get together in the end? I've only seen up to almost the end of season eight.

Unfortunately, it's true. Yeah, I know. What I don't understand is why they'd sell the rights to put it on iTunes, and then can it on cable? Unless this is a new business practice they're going into... Still don't get it.
Arisztid- you'll have to wait and see, just like the rest of us. Who are, by the way, STILL WAITING!
Sorry for the shout. Just kind of put a downer on the evening.

Hell, that's 3 seasons longer than ST:TNG got and that was the most popular Sci-fi show sinse the original ST
Holy Frakin' Yeah!
Scandrea Posted Aug 23, 2006
Yeah, but I just want them to give it a decent ending! Not like Farscape!
Holy Frakin' Yeah!
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Aug 23, 2006
I have no idea about Farscape I was never into it
Who wants to accept a bet that Sam and Jack finally get it together and Daniel goes to Atlantis with Vala
Holy Frakin' Yeah!

If thats not the way that they end it I'll be extremely dissapointed. Ten years is a very long time, and I'm glad it go to go so so long. If it ends that way then I wont really mind it ending, then at least I'll have a happy feeling left that everything worked out.
The thing I was reading made it sound like maybe they were going to do Stargate movies?
*crosses fingers for a happy ending and that Atlantis gets to go for a long time*

Actually, MGM said they were waiting for him to age a little- I guess before the series started, the next movie was supposed to happen 12 years after the first one.
But I'd rather see them do an SG1 movie- Samantha Carter prods goa'uld buttock!
Holy Frakin' Yeah!
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Aug 24, 2006
Are there any Goa'uld apart from Baal left?
Holy Frakin' Yeah!
Scandrea Posted Aug 25, 2006
I don't know- there was the guy that liked to eat and sold us out to the Ori. Can't remember his name. But there have to be others.
I found this quote today:
"Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today - but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all. "
-Isaac Asimov
I realy wish people would read more...
