Traveller in Time just curious
"Is it a geophysical word for a rift or something ?
Is it a personification of someone famous ?
Is it a cruise in another tongue ?
No search gives a clue, I give up."

It's the building the Geology department is in at University of Akron.
My guess it's named after someone that donated a lot of money to the school.

Traveller in Time on a building
"Sorry still had the search window online
There is a Crouse St and a Crouse Hall in Akron, both with lots of numbers. Ah, some mexican site promoting somthing. No parle or something.
Crouse Elementary school
Crouse Chapel, probably somewhere down Crouse Chapel Road.
Then I guess it is about Crouse Hall.
Quite dull, if I am honest:

George W. Crouse Hall (CRH)
'George W. Crouse' was president of 'Akron Boards Trading Council' in 1870.
During his time, the organisation brought the rubber industry to Akron.
Short after WW2 the boards were involved in several bulding projects.
After his wife died he donated an organ to the St Paul's church.
And after he died his children donated an upgrade of the organ to the St Paul's Akron. "
