I say we should get more of Hermione's and Ron's squabbles in book 6. It makes for classic reading and there as so meant for eachother

I dont remember then being murdered on Halloween buts its been SO long since I read the first four books so Its probably there. Unless its in OoP and then that just goes to show how forgetful I am

No, its older than that... I'm not sure which one it's in, but I think it's true. Maybe Hagrid tells him? I can't remember exactly. I may be wrong.

it might be, i dont remember it. it will have been sometime after june anyway, because he was over one when he was left at the dursley's.

did voldemort kill ALL of harry's family? because you know, there are grandparents and things, and we never hear about them. couldnt there be cousins? and wasnt james potter a pure-blood? if he was, doesnt that mean that harry is related to loads of other wiozards?

Well when Harry looked into the mirror in book 1, he saw his grandparents amongst other relatives as well as his parents, the film failed to show this.
Harry had to go and stay with the Dursleys because all his other relatives are dead.

Check out todays Sun, there are the two new titles for book 6 and 7 in there.

Maybe they died before he was born - or maybe they are being saved up as a surprise in later books, like what I said about Mark Evans.

Incase any of you havent read Today's Sun, two new titles have been registered, they are as follows

Harry Potter and the Mudblood Revolt (Could be something to do with Hermione?)

and

Harry Potter and the Quest of the Cenataur. (Something like that anyway, Firenze could be involved.)

Some fans seem to think it is just a 'smokescreen' though.

Thanks for that. I think I agree with the smokescreen theory - they don't seem like real titles to me, especially the first one. Not "Pottery" enough. Plus, they make sense, whereas the others didn't make sense until you read the book. This doesn't apply as strongly to te Quest of the centaur thing, I suppose, but definately to the first one.

An article over at TLC seems to think its just a load of to. Remember The Green Flame Torch title rumoured for book 6 too?

Book 4 was going to be called Harry Potter and the doomspell tornament or summat, got cancelled at the last moment

Ive got some more HP, news from them in my email but havent had a chance to read it yet, if theres anything worth mentioning I'll post it here!

hmm. i just wondered why ALL his relations were killed? i mean, by dumbkledor's explanation, only harry should have been targeted, and the parents were killed because they were in the way. its so long till the next book!!!!. but that will be the prenultimate.

I wonder what will happen in book 6. It seems that everything has been explained so book 6 will surely be smaller, leaving book 7 to be the book involving the main fight.

Nothing much to report in terms of news, the train used for the Hogwarts Express has been vandalised with the words "J SPRAY ROWLING" sprayed on in silver. Its think its a horrible thing to happen, vandals are just pathetic.

She's said book 6 will be smaller. But we still need some answers!
