It is nice- colourful and peaceful at the same time.
Although I have to admit I didn't know what bayou meant, so I had to look it up to find out.

Still, you learn something new every day I suppose.

There is nothing wrong with having to look up something. No one can know everything. I would only be bothered by someone who refused to learn.

Yes they're lovely, Lake Martin looks espeically picturesque.

Those were just the most familiar pictures I could find on google. I've been to most of those places(and lots of other places).

The most picturesque place where I live, within walking distance any way, is probably the lake. It's not very big, but it has a lot of wildlife and the ducks and swans seem to like it.

It's nice in spring to, especially with all the cute ducklings running around.
